Terms and Conditions
Appointments, Bookings and Cancellations
- Appointments are scheduled by prior arrangement
- Each therapy session would last around 1 hour.
- Any subsequent session, if required, will be advised and scheduled at the end of a session.
- If, due for whatever reason, you need to change your appointment time, we require at least 24 hours notice, and will endeavour to arrange the next available time convenient to both parties.
- If you are unable to give 24 hours notice of change or if you fail to attend an appointment, the full consultation fee will be payable.
- If, for whatever reason, Holistic Partnerships, requires to change your session date or time, we will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible, and to reschedule the appointment to the earliest convenient time for both parties.
- Holistic Partnerships reserves the right to withdraw treatment, and/or to refer you to an alternative therapist, if in their opinion this is in your best interests.
- The number of sessions required, to produce significant improvement, and/or to complete a treatment, will vary dependant upon the patient and the condition being presented.
Privacy Policy
- Holistic Partnerships provides a confidential service, and everything you say or divulge to us will be treated with the strictest confidence.
- Any information discussed or noted during an appointment will not be disclosed to a 3rd party. However your attention is drawn to the exclusion statement on page 2 of these Terms & Conditions.
- Holistic Partnerships will not discuss your therapy with any third party without your written permission.
- Session notes will be made by hand, in most instances, however all information including session notes will be stored on a computer. All data provided is used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
- Subject to the nature of the presenting condition, and/or any existing/prior medical history, there may be a requirement to contact your GP or other medical professionals (e.g. a Physiotherapist) to advise him/her of your hypnotherapy treatment.
- Treatments cannot begin until GP agreement has been given where appropriate.
Fees and Payments
- Details of fees are given in the Fees section.
- Fees will be discussed and agreed prior to commencing therapy.
- Payment is due at the end of a session, cash or cheque payable to Holistic Partnerships.
Conduct
- Holistic Partnerships undertakes to treat you with respect and not to abuse your trust.
- Holistic Partnerships endeavours to use best practice at all times in our mutual interest.
- You undertake not to harm yourself, or any other person, including the therapist, or any property belonging either to another person or to Holistic Partnerships.
- You will not come to any session under the influence of alcohol or drugs, other than those prescribed by your GP.
Conditions of Treatment
- I understand that no guarantee of a cure can be given for any presenting condition, or any issues that may arise during the course of therapy.
- Failure to disclose information relating to current and/or previous medical history or medication may hinder the effectiveness of the therapy and will void any failure to achieve a successful outcome.
Exclusion Statement Abuse or Injury to a Minor or Vulnerable Adult
- Any divulgence by a client that abuse or injury to minors and/or vulnerable adults has occurred or is contemplated will as a matter of law be notified to the police and other appropriate authorities.
Harm of yourself or others
- If serious concern that you may harm yourself or others occurs during therapy Holistic Partnerships will feel obligated to inform appropriate persons. This may be your GP, social services or the police. This will not be undertaken without first discussing the concerns with you.
Professional Liaison with other Professionals
- There may be isolated occasions where the advice or input of another hypnotherapist will assist in determining the best course of treatment. This will usually be with a supervisor appointed for your therapist by the Hypnotherapy Society. This is normal practice and the client name is not divulged during such discussions.
